Bound, but still Unfinished

Okay, I did get the binding on, and I got it on my bed. Looks great, right? Well, actually, after I got it on the bed, I noticed that I had a block that had missed being quilted. Had to go through the sewing room garbage cans and find the stencils, etc. Now all I have to do is wrestle it off the bed and back under the sewing machine needle...sigh.

Finally finished (almost, anyway)!

Last night after I got home from work, I finished quilting the borders of the new 90" x 90" quilt that is going on my bed. I pieced it over a year ago (the block is called Rocky Road to Dublin), but have just now gotten around to layering and quilting it. I started with just outlining the patchwork, and then ended up adding some feathers and petals, which always seems to happen (can never keep it simple, can I?). I then outlined the posies in the floral border. Love that Bernina QE 440! Now all I have to do is bind it...
